yup, it's my birthday today!
i've been telling myself that i want to come out around my birthday, but at the current moment i feel so far from coming out.
sometimes i have those days where i just want to yell and scream, "i'm gay!" and be done with it.
then there's days where i think i'll never come out and it makes me sad.
there is also all the feelings inbetween.
argh...only time will tell.

Dude! Happy birthday!! Don't be too hard on yourself. Just enjoy the day, there's so much out there than to be worried. Put that on hold for today if you don't feel up to it.
Happy Birthday (belatedly)! The year ahead will be a great one for you! You'll find that coming out doesn't mean shouting it out to the whole world all at once. Sometimes it's just a matter of saying something to someone you might otherwise swallow for fear it "sounds gay." Or smiling at a guy you catch eyes with on the street. It all boils down to feeling good BEING YOU in your own skin and not holding back. The more comfortable you are expressing what's on your mind and in your heart, the less important actually saying the words becomes. Ultimately you won't HAVE TO say you're gay in so many words because you'll be fully YOU in all the wonder that you are, and the label loses its stigma. But you'll figure this all out in your own due time. Right now just enjoy your birthday week!!! Celebrate until you fall down on your face! Then pick yourself up and say, "Pffft! Ive been away for a few months and missed your blog, its been good to catch up with whats been happening.
Ive decided to come out to my family in 2 weeks, which feels a bit surreal. But it always helps to read your thoughts and know Im not alone.
